This Policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.

We collect the following categories of personal data:
Identity data — your name.
Contact data — your email address, and if provided, phone number.
Engagement data — how you interact with our emails, waitlist forms, and website (opens, clicks, page visits, source of signup e.g. Substack or direct).
Transaction data — details of products or services you purchase, including payment confirmation (card details are processed directly by our payment providers and are never stored by us).
Communications data — messages you send us directly, including replies to emails or diagnostic conversation notes from Signal Fire.
We do not knowingly collect any special category data (such as health or financial information) unless you voluntarily share it with us in the course of a coaching conversation, in which case it is treated with the confidentiality appropriate to that context and is never used for marketing purposes.
Directly from you — when you join the Priority Waitlist, book a Signal Fire conversation, purchase The Crossing, or reply to an email.
From Substack — if you subscribe to our publication, Substack shares your email address with us for the purpose of sending you content; Substack's own privacy policy also applies to your use of their platform.
Automatically — basic engagement data (email opens, link clicks, page visits) is collected via our CRM and website analytics.
Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
Consent — for sending you marketing emails (e.g. the Priority Waitlist sequence, newsletter content). You can withdraw this at any time by unsubscribing.
Contract — to deliver a product or service you have purchased (e.g. The Crossing, Signal Fire, The Return).
Legitimate interests — to understand how our content and offers are performing, to improve our services, and to follow up on genuine enquiries, provided this does not override your rights and interests.
Legal obligation — where we are required to retain records for tax, accounting, or regulatory purposes.
We use a small number of trusted third-party providers to run our business. We do not sell your data to anyone. The providers we currently use include:
GoHighLevel (GHL) — our CRM and email automation platform, used to store your contact details, tag your interests, and send waitlist and nurture emails.
ThriveCart — our checkout provider for Signal Fire and The Crossing, which processes payment details directly.
Substack — if you subscribe to our publication there.
Payment processors (e.g. Stripe/PayPal, via ThriveCart) — to process transactions securely.
Each of these providers processes your data under their own privacy policy and, where applicable, a data processing agreement with us. We choose providers that maintain appropriate security standards.
Some of our providers (e.g. GoHighLevel, Substack) may store or process data outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on the provider's compliance with recognised safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism.
Waitlist and marketing contacts — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or after a period of prolonged inactivity, whichever is sooner.
Client and purchase records — retained for as long as required for contractual, accounting, and tax purposes (typically 6 years from the end of the relevant tax year, in line with HMRC requirements).
Coaching conversation notes — retained only as long as needed to deliver the service, then securely deleted or anonymised.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request erasure of your data ("the right to be forgotten").
Restrict or object to certain processing.
Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link included in every email.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Our website may use essential cookies required for it to function, and basic analytics cookies to understand visitor numbers and behaviour. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 or over, in line with our Terms & Conditions. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including using reputable providers with their own security standards, restricting access to personal data to what is necessary, and using authenticated, encrypted connections for email sending (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
